NOT. DONE. YET.

To my Factory Church Family,

First off, I am so excited to announce that Factory Church will be continuing in a new location!

What God wants to do is bigger than me. Bigger than You.

What great and fond memories I have had serving and leading this ministry since April 23rd. It’s a true honor to have the opportunity to serve our Lord and Savior. I want to thank Dr. Brown for his leadership and vision for the Factory Church. His encouragement, guidance and love allowed us to really reach a whole new group of people for Jesus.

Launching a whole new service was no easy feat. It took an extreme amount of planning and support from a whole lot of incredible people. I couldn’t be more proud of what we accomplished at the Factory. We saw people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We saw people make decisions that will affect their lives for years down the road. We saw many people lower down walls, allowing God to truly work in their hearts. This was a life-changing ministry for sure. I know it was in my own personal life.

Factory has taught me a lot personally. It has opened my eyes and heart to things that I was not fully ready to be open to. I have had a call on my life for many years and have worked to answer that call in different serving capacities. I always knew that God had wanted me to go further and that I wasn’t allowing Him to use me to my fullest capacity. You know, sometimes we just get in the way of God’s riches and blessing. We are never in more perfect peace than we are when we are right inside His will and plan for our lives. I spent many weeks teaching that, and really all I was doing was inviting you to hear what God was doing inside of me. Those challenges to have faith over fear, and to fully move with great passion and purpose towards love, grace and His purpose for your life was a direct reflection of what God was and is doing inside of me.

Each service was extremely fun and unique. The work behind the scenes that went into each service was awesome to be apart of. This was not possible without our great volunteers. This is an amazing sign of your selflessness and willingness to work to make a difference in people’s lives. To my Factory volunteer family, there’s none better than you. Your service and love actually made the difference in how people not only experienced the service, but how they experienced the presence of God each week. You guys made it a special place and I couldn’t be more proud to have had the opportunity to serve alongside of each of you. You will never know the impact that you have made on me and my family. I will always be forever grateful for each of you.

So, now we move forward. We have fielded a great number of emails, social posts, direct messages, texts and phone calls regarding what is going to happen with Factory and where it will meet in the future. Man, I truly thought that we could just go away and not many would care or recognize. Boy was I wrong on many counts.

I was wrong to think that I could step down and just move on to the next chapter of my life, closing the door on this chapter. No, that isn’t what God wants for my life. I have taken the last couple of weeks to get alone and allow God to work inside of me. I have spent time with spiritual leaders over my life to have them pray and help guide me on this journey of life. I have enjoyed that very much and look forward to much more of it!

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt 6:33

So, where do we go from here? Well, for starters, HE ISN’T DONE WITH ME YET!

And you know what? Factory Family, HE ISN’T DONE WITH YOU YET EITHER!

I can’t shake the calling that is on my life. I love people. I want to see people have hope. I want to inspire people to have purpose. I want to help lead and guide people to have a full and rich life that only comes with the grace and love of our Savior. I have been called to reach people that have been broken, hurt, confused, down and out and even those searching for something more from life. This is what the Factory is about. We are builders, workers and tools to be used by God to reach and love on others.

I believe we have an amazing opportunity to build a thriving, local church that is focused on our local community. Charlotte is a booming city that is growing weekly. We have over 1,140,052 people in the greater Charlotte area. What an amazing opportunity to reach and love on others. Like a Factory, we have a chance to build a local church that is a strong and active member in our community. We will have to go at this very differently. My goal is to focus on others and help develop a community of people that are there for each other, going through life with each other, and growing old together.

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

So to answer your question: Is the Factory dead? The answer is an emphatic NO! Nope. Nah. No sir and no ma’am. We are far from dead. We have seen God move and have seen the incredible outcry of support on where the Factory will be in the future. We have a great purpose to help stand alongside other ministries in the area to bound together to love on our community, to help the needy, to be there for the poor and to give the amazing good news of the Gospel to all that we can share it with.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13

In my opinion, anything worth doing is worth doing right! So, we are actively working behind the scenes right now on how we are going to launch, where we are going to meet temporarily, as well as our vision for our future of where we are going to establish this work in a permanent location. Once we have that, we can then focus on building an amazing Factory community of normal, everyday people that need that amazing grace that only comes with a relationship with Jesus.

Now that we have that out of the way, it’s time to plan, develop, build and work towards our future. In the near future, we’ll be making announcements on where and when we’ll be meeting for our temporary location.

As we have plans available to share, we will do so through email, the Factory website www.TheFactoryChurch.com as well as on Instagram and Facebook: @FactoryChurchCLT.

If you are interested in helping, serving and or being apart of this ministry, you can drop us a line here at info@TheFactoryChurch.com and we will be in touch.

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Together we can make a difference. Together we can impact our world. Together we are stronger.

Your friend, just one of you,

Andy Williamson
